Mission Statement
"WMAHA is committed to providing safe, decent, and affordable housing to individuals and families within the boundaries of the White Mountain Apache Tribe land-base who face income or other life challenges. WMAHA offers support through a wide variety of programs and services. Our website is designed to educate citizens about these programs and services, and to share how WMAHA is working to build a stronger community."

The White Mountain Apache Housing Authority is the tribally designated housing entity of the White Mountain Apache Tribe to administer housing programs authorized by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 and to undertake other housing activities for the benefit of the Tribe and its members.

The White Mountain Apache Housing Authority is located in East Central Arizona on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. The land covers more then 1.6 million acres with more than 13,000 members located on 9 major reservation communities.
